and I didn't want to let him out of my sight.
Ken and I had him alone in the car for the drive to In and Out - his choice.
After In and Out he was reunited with the girl who waited faithfully for him for 2 years....
We drove to the Stake Center for him to be released by President Polley and we were able to hear his wonderful testimony that had grown immensely in the two years he was gone.
Then home for a much anticipated swim.
Then next morning we had a wonderful breakfast and Daniel was able to visit one on one with Nanny - a priceless moment.
Daniel reported his mission to the ward and to the high council. Here are a few shots from his homecoming party.
We had over 100 friends gather to welcome home Elder Shipley.
It was a great party and was so fun to see all of his friends again - several recently returned RM's.
We have been to the temple together which was wonderful.
Had dinner at nan's.
Did a little back to school shopping (ignore the black sock and shoes)...
Played pickle ball.....
and spent time with family at the El Con....
and spent time getting to know these little guys better.
This chapter in our family's life is over - and I'm now going to publish this blog.
