Guatemala City South

hey mom,

this week went fast but the beginning of every change is always really slow. but it is going to start picking up soon, i am having a lot of fun here and i have such a strong desire to work really really hard this change. anyways, i have a new companion. so the change meeting. all the missionaries meet at this church and we go in and mingle with each other and stuff then we go and have a meeting. the ap´s announce any announcements, Pres speaks with us and he tells us our goals and everything. but yeah after that then they announce the changes. anyways elder hardy is now outside the cap but i still talk with him perodically, and my new companion is Elder Castellanos. he is a latino from El Salvador, but he knows english pretty well but not perfect, i am teaching him and he is teaching me. it is so much fun, he is a cool kid and we get along pretty well. i was sad at first because i was going to miss elder hardy but me and elder castellanos are getting along really well now. he is a cool kid. i feel like my spanish is improving so much too. i have been learning so much lately. just the other day i went on divisions with another elder named elder hernandez, he is from panama and knows no english, so that was interesting. oh yeah, so in that christmas package can you send me the book how to be an extra ordinary missionary, that is such an inspiring book and it is so good. and also you can send me a fj cruiser too, haha just kidding, maybe in 2 christmas´s though, haha kidding. but yeah so how have you all been doing. nothing to exciting happened this week. church was cool because in sacrament meeting all the kids who just returned from the efy they hold here in guatemala bore their testimonies. they were all excited and had a change of hearts there. i want to do that when i get back so that i can do that fun thing. it is such a cool program and really does help people out. you should of heard those kids mom, they were so touching. everyone in that room felt the spirit in there. also here is a cool story, so we were teaching these recent converts, and the wife of this man told us that she honestly thinks we walk with angels, she told me that when ever she is about to make a bad choice, by some miracle i come around the corner and when she sees us she is reminded to not make that mistake. it is really cool when people tell us things like that .i love it here though, and yes you should go to the temple, when i get back i want to go like about once a month, and you can be my partner in crime until i get married, ha. so what else is new, what are you guys doing for christmas this year. i cant wait for the call to you guys and to be able to talk, so i will call you like 2 or 3 days in advance and let you know when and where to call but until then i dont know to much, well i will talk to you next week. i love you all so much and miss you guys, i´ll talk to you later,
