How blessed we have been....

to have Magda Liliana Guinac in our lives.  She has truly been an angel of the Lord while Daniel has been in Guatemala.  Today I received this email....

She loves the missionaries and takes very good care of them - she is always serving them.  She introduced herself to me in this email...

Hello Sister Shipley:  I´m sister Magda Guinac,  I met to Elder Shipley in his first área (:
I want to tell you a little about me, i have 44 years, I´m single woman, i like cook,  i knew the church when i was 19 years old,   23 years ago i was a missionary, now i work  as a counselor in the Presidency of the Relief Society  in my chapel and teach the Gospel principles class with the new members I love this call because I love the missional work and the missionaries. I looking for the missionaries luch with the members and for many years , every saturday  i´ve cooker for the Elders and many of them become in my children (: in those lunches was that i met his son, he stole my heart , i felt his spirit, lowliness and his testimony about JesusChrist, he really is an amazing missionary, worthy and faithful   ¡you can feel so proud about him!

I was in the área San Francisco only for celebrated Elder Shipley´s Birthday (: here i send some pictures.. almost forced him to eat the chicken with his fingers (:

I love your son and is an privilege to serve him in some way.

I testify that JesusChrist is my Savior and i aprreciate the opportunity to have the gospel in my life.

Other emails that she has wrote to me have touched my heart and I cry as I have read them....

the last sunday i visited Elder Shipley in his area   i enjoyed his missionary spirit !!  he open doors and hearts with his sweet smile (:   He really is an amazing Elder, I feel gratefull for the blessing of meet him.
I brought some cookies and brownies  for him.

My dear dear Susie (: you make me feel  baggy, I was crying while reading your words of gratitude, my only desire always has been that they feel a little bit of home here in the mission.
I can´t belive that 2 year ago i met Elder Shipley  and his sweet smile and beatiful spirit  conquered my heart, for  me was a blessing to serve your son, he is amazing young!!!! you have a  treasure (:

I hope that you and me  always can share this beautiful feeling and friendship,  that  only give us the gospel of Jesus Christ!
