i was thinking about tyler all wednesday and it made me sad. he was such a dear friend to me and i loved him so much. i am just shocked that it had to go the way it did. we had some really good times. haha remember that cd we made where we were yelling, susie come here and it was with a techno remix. haha, so funny.
well im glad you are loving your new calling mom, you deserve a calling that you love.
well here is my week in a nutshell. i cant wait for changes to get going with a new comp again and get going working extremely hard. oh and bytheway the raining season has really begun here. it is nuts. it rains everyday, and i just love the rain. haha not.
Monday - so monday we went to the church and played risk and it was super fun. haha i got pretty good and almost had the whole board won but then at the last min, elder griffen killed all my troops haha so that stunk. then we went to lunch and returned to our area. we had a fhe with the bishop and it went really good. he talked about the hope and how it is necessary in our lives. if we had no hope why would we do all the things we do. so it was really good. he is a great bishop. i really love that guy.
Tuesday - we had our District meeting and i had to give a talk. i talked about having diligence in the mission and how we need to be obedient and follow the rules and be the best missionaries we can be. s then we had to try and find a new house because some people are moving in and we have to live privately so we are switching houses. we found 2 really good houses and so went to go check them out on wednesday and thursday, you can read that part to see how that went. anyways after that, we went with this one family to a fhe and we taught them and it went really really good. we taught about the love of Christ and how we need that in our lives. then they made us some dinner, beans and eggs. ha a typical guate plate. haha, maybe i´ll be addicted to beans when i get home. is that weird to you guys. haha.
Wednesday - we went and looked at this one apartment and it is from this one guy named salvador. he is a really nice guy and lived in the states for like 30 years. but he has a really super nice apartment. it looks like a hotel so we were hoping we could end up with that but on monday he told us that he just sold it, so we are going to try and look at the other one and so we are probably going to live there. we just got permission for it all so soon we´ll be moving. then we went with this one family who are investigators. they are the family deloroca. they are super nice. they always treat us with a nice dinner and we always have a good time with them. then we went to our class of english and it went good, we just played games with them.
thursday - so we went with jaime and we talked to him about the temple and the importance of it. and he loved it. he is just a little frustrated right now because his recommendation expired so he is in a hassle right now trying to get a new one and we´ll see what happens. we are just trying to keep him motivated and excited so he will always have that desire to go to the temple. then we went with the stake president who lives in the area and we taught him and his family. he is an intense man. haha he gives me fear but he is a great man and has the gospel down in his family. he lives it and you can really see the blessings from it. it is great. then we went with this one family called the family pinto and they gave us dinner and we just visited with them. it was their sons bday so we celebrated it with him. it was fun. oh and by the way we went to the other house but the lady wasn't there so we didnt get to see it.
friday - we went with the zls and they came to see the house for where we will live. they loved it and said it looks like a hotel. haha so we got the permission and we will be moving now. also we went to a families house the family sosa, it was fathers day on friday so we celebrated it with them. we just ate hot dogs and cake and it was really fun. they are a really cool family. we also got a couple references from them. so that we can start teaching a new family in their area.
Saturday - i completed 10 months. can you believe that. ten months that i have been away from you guys. that is so crazy to me. it is nuts. i made some goals of what im going to do the rest of my mission and i will be so much better. so anyways we went and visited a hermana and we were teaching her and she just started asking questions and we ended up talking about the end of the world, she started crying because she was worried for her kids. it was cute but it got me to feel bad too. my kids will have to go though all that bad stuff and how this world just keeps getting worse and worse. it is so sad to think about sometimes. so we had a good lesson with her, then we went with kevin, a kid in the ward and he came to our house and we worked out with him. haha it was funny, he told me i know how to work out. haha i put him though a tough program. but we had fun, then we were supposed to go to a party but it was raining really hard so they canceled it. but yeah it was a good day and then we just had my english class again and we just played games again. they are really learning pretty well.
sunday - So sunday church went normal, i had to go and bless the sacrament and here they keep the people on stand so i was stuck up there the whole time. haha brought back good memories from blessing in the catalina ward. then in the after noon we had our activity and it went really well. we just watched the joseph smith movie and wow that movie is just so great. there is such a strong spirit every time when we watch it. then after the activity we had a testimony meeting and it went really well too. after all of that we went with this guy in the ward who is the new secretary and he is super cool. we ate dinner with them and had a fhe with them. i taught about the doctrine of christ and how we need to follow it and do all we can to be the best members in the world. when we live the gospel we really find the love we need and the success in this world. it was super cool
that was my week. one more week in the change, im so ready for changes to get a new comp and to get things going again. i feel bad for my next comp cause were going to work super hard. haha, but yeah i love this church and i know it is true. there is no other church in the world that is the true church. but yeah well i´ll talk to you guys later. i love you so much and miss you guys a ton. happy father's day dad.
