haha, I'm glad you enjoyed my letter last week. My district is just awesome. They are all pretty young still in the mission so they still have that spark in them to work hard and do the things good. We all push each other really hard and we have really good numbers so the leaders are happy with me that we are moving along well. I loved conference. It was a blast. I especially loved the Priesthood session because Jeffery R. Holland sure did get right in the face of everyone. haha looks like you and dad might be serving a mission now. There is no excuse as to why you can't, now that the church has so many flexibilities with the new program for senior missionaries. Don't worry i'll take care of the house for you guys. haha. He said, Men, if you guys can leave the couch and remote control for a little bit, then your wives can leave the grand kids also. haha, it was funny. Also I loved the Sunday morning session because we had investigators there and President Monson gave an amazing talk. It was just so beautiful. Plus a lot of people talked about the book of Mormon and our investigators just loved it. Mom, I wish you could of seen their faces when they walked out of the room. They looked just so spiritually filled and they all knew that this church is true. We're going to start putting Fechas with them to get baptized. Not only, we just found them this last week. haha which is way cool. No I didn't see any of those things between conference, here they only show the church news but i didn't even get to see that because we were busy with the investigators making sure they had rides and everything but yeah, I wish I could of seen that. I really feel like we have met some people who were just right for us. Me and my companion found some new people here this past week and they are great people. They are well prepared and are just moving along well. I have met a lot of people here as to where I have changed their lives, it is an amazing feeling. I feel like Danny was one of those people, the family reyes, George, Diana, just a ton of people. But I will tell you all about that after the mission. and here in guate. it is still raining, it is raining season until November. it rains every day here from like 2 pm to the end of the night. Outside the cap the people talk so weird but I'm getting used to it now. Also the earthquakes are pretty dang strong here. It is cool but yeah. ha, we just moved our house and we are living like kings now. Apparently the owner is of the states and so they left us a sofa, and gave us a ton of furnish, i think that is the word. Where we put the clothes and couch and all that stuff. I'll take some more pictures for next week. Our house is really clean though which I love. Anyways, here is what is happening with a couple people.
So we have these 2 new people named Brendra and Sandra. Brendra has 16 years and Sandra has 30 years and has 3 kids. So that is a family for us. Right now in the mission we are really focusing in families. we are only baptizing families which is helping us a lot more with finding more people who are ready for the gospel and help each other progress. Anyways this past week they had a lot of questions about all the things in our church and with the authority and priesthood, so we answered all their questions and when we explained the part about Joseph Smith they loved it. they said they felt goosebumps when we were explaining that part. it was really cool. We just testified to them that that was the spirit. they also came to the General Conference and theys aid afterwords taht they knew without a doubt that Thomas S. Monson is the Prophet of the world. It was so neat.
Also we found a new young man named Juan Jose. He has 16 years and is really a cool kid. He is huge, way bigger than me. i really thought he had like 19 years or something. but he is really funny and always has a ton of questions about the church for us and is really capting the things we are teaching him. everything time after we teach him we ask him what he thinks about it and he just says, well it makes sense that it has to be that way. ha he is super cool.
Also we found this other woman named Maria Luisa. She is the mother of these new converts and the first time we taught her i just invited her to listen to us. She accepted and she too said the exact same when we explained to her about Joseph smith. She felt the spirit really strongly and just loved it. She is now progressing really well right now and is loving all the things we are teaching her. she says the things that she loves the most is that when wea re there she feels peace, and her family is more unified. more unified than ever before. it is awesome. but yeah. she is just ar eally nice and sweet woman and will make a great member.
but yeah anyways this week we are hoping to put fechas for baptisim for this month. and hopefully we can find a ton of new people to teach as well. i really hope so. I love finding new people to teach and seeing their lives become better thanks to this great and wonderful gospel. I love it so much and i know with all my heart that it is the only way we can be happy. Not only do missionaries need to be obiedient but all members need to be obiedient so that they can really have that true happiness. but yeah. i love you all so much and miss you a ton. hope you have a great week and i'll talk to you later.
love always
